This is BEAUTIFUL. Even tho the image is quite eery (fittingly so), I agree that you end on an appropriately hopeful note. Even the font corresponds super well with the image and tone. It's a very simple design, but totally effective and one that really caught my eye.
I am intrigued. And the image is perfectly appropriate. I will admit that I don't COMPLETELY know what is going on, but I found that I was glued to the page and wanted to read more. There aren't many words to describe how I feel about it as a whole; I just like it. It makes me think and it makes me feel sadness, but in a hopeful sort of way.
This is an interesting piece. I think it does a good job of creating emotion, but it's not depressing. You end with an air of hope.
