I like this picture a lot! I've never been to Russia, but I know what you mean when you talk about remembering feelings. Sometimes we care so much about words people say to us or certain adventures that we go on, that we forget how we feel when talking to that person or going to that place. Those feelings are what are going to drive us to do something. I liked this post a lot!
I agree with you that often we remember how something made us feel more than what we were doing when we felt that way. However, I have noticed that some of my clearest memories stem from highly emotional experiences such as being sad, happy, or angry. Whereas memories of times that were just kind of normal or regulated in the emotion department seem to be fuzzier.
And I agree with Nathan. The take home message here is, how do we make others feel? That is what they'll remember the most about us.
I liked your post! I often wonder, as the other comments suggest, the type of legacy I leave behind and what people see when they watch me. I always hope its something good, or at least a bad example that they learn not to follw.
