I like this quote. I do believe this is the most important thing, because it's connected to hope. With out hope, it would be very difficult to accomplish anything. Believing you can do something has tremendous power.
I think it's definitely important to remember that everyone makes mistakes and that nobody has all the answers. A major lesson I've learned in the past few years is that it's easy to look at people and think "oh man, they have it all figured out, why can't I be more like them?" But in reality EVERYBODY has problems, NOBODY had life completely figured out. The best thing we can do is not compare ourselves to others and focus on moving toward our own goals.
Are you telling me that I have made a million mistakes? I was trying to keep it on the down low, but now that it's out... I like the idea that mistakes are inevitable. It is how we respond to them that will separate the weak from the strong. This goes right along with my Michael Jordan video!
I really liked when you said that sometimes the greatest steps toward success are the ones out of bed. Amen. Sometimes I don't feel like I have accomplished anything in a day (and that getting out of bed was a mistake), but taking some sort of action every day, even the small ones, we take advantage of our opportunity to prove we have "it" in us. We are successful people, even though we make mistakes. That's a good thing to remember.
