Being different is rarely a bad thing in my opinion. Too many people aspire to nothing more than to be "normal." To me, that is nothing more than mediocrity. Much better to be true to one's self and identify ways in which you can excel.
What a sweet flashback to the good old days of 'groovy' and 'peace'! I agree that one of the blessings from our loving Heavenly Father is for each of us to be so unique! With such a blessing in place, each of us have our own unique mission in life, and thus feel individually needed as we can use our special talents and abilities to bless the lives of others. Thanks for your post!
I really appreciated the comment about choosing our own path. I dont thinnk we realize that most people are unable to choose exactly what and who they want to become--due to circumstances--- well ultimately you truly can decide what you want to be--but it is of course harder for others then we often realize---
