I think you said it well- the reason I love Christmas music isn't because it's neccessarily good or unique. It's usually quite cheesy, annoying, and repetitive. But I love the feeling it gives me when I listen to it. Warm. Happy. Family. Friends. I'll admit, sometimes, even in the middle of summer, if I'm having a bad day or feeling lonely, I'll turn on Christmas music.
I really can't say that only one thing reminds me of everything good in my life. Maybe my son--but as far as something that isn't living, I can't relate.
Having said that, I think that it is good that you actually have something that can push your mind towards all of the things you are grateful for. Pumpkin pie only has one meaning in my mind....dessert.
