Sarah - I LOVE the photo you used here. Grace is such a powerful idea, and immediately links itself with gratitude. On a design note, I kind of wished you'd used a different font color, just for readability's sake. But I really liked the ideas presented here. It seems like nice [grateful] guy's might finish last - but at least they live longer? =)
Sarah, I think it is great that you brought in statistics about what gratitude can do for us. I think it is great that when we follow the commandments there are always benefits (more than just blessings in heaven). We become better people, I believe, when we grateful. We become closer to our Heavenly Father, and in response we act differently down here on earth. It really is a physical change. Thanks for the insight
Great post! I had a companion who I did not get along with all that well. He always had a poor attitude each day. He was the kind of missionary who would get mad at other missionaries if they did anything slightly disobedient. He was my only companion that I had an argument with. Anyway, something that I noticed that he constantly did was he wrote down every thought he had even the negative thoughts. I think your post demonstrates that writing down negative thoughts has negative effects. That sounds like an interesting book.
