Excellent Words! I liked the clear but relaxing design that supplements your text and pics. But, most of all I like the message (as I find it at least) that can be found by the image on the bottom right. It seems to suggest that not only can we learn from the mistakes of others, but sometimes it is essential. Many of the decisions in life aren't worth screwing up... and some the really important ones can only be decided upon once. How important it is then to choose the proper path first and be prepared throughout.
Ha ha ha. First, I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only lazy-scripture-reacher out there. Know that you have company. Second, I like your point of how our stubbornness, or laziness, actually ends up taking and wasting more effort than just getting up and doing it. I love the quote (that I'm going to botch) regarding Micheal Phelps by his coach. It went something like this: [Micheal] is successful because everyday he chooses to do the things that unsuccessful people don't want to do.
I come from an extremely stubborn family which translates into me being just as stubborn. Before my mission, I was a very, very sarcastic, stubborn, and cynical person. My mission fixed some of my personality, but in the last year and a half as I have been interacting with so many people, I have had to humble myself to listen and be willing to put forth a selfless attitude. I have found just how easy it really is to simply stop when I have made a mistake to try and learn what I did so that I would not repeat myself. I also find that it's not the big mistakes that are hard to fix, but the tiny ones.
