I understand this. Actually, as much fun as the Clubs committee had last semester, my favorite part of being on the council so far has been the Sub 4 Santa this last Christmas. It was one of the happiest things I've gotten to do while at BYU, in fact. And, now that I'm on the Service and Social committee, this gives me motivation to keep working. Thanks, Kiel.
haha Kiel, wow i know exactly how you feel. Actually i too had no idea whether or not I wanted to be a part of the council again, but I think it was when they told me that i would be helping with the Service and Social committee. I was excited to be able to do something that i knew would make a change and benefit someone.
Kiel, your post made me cry. I know. I know. I'm such a girl!
But, It means so much to me to know that something that I worked so hard to help organize had not only a positive effect on the community, but that it also was a blessing to the council members that weren't on my the Social and Service Committee. I'm so glad you DID decide to stay on the council for this year. I appreciate all of your support and help. Thank you.
Kiel, first off, just have to tell you, nice color scheme. Very... you. Take that as you will. Haha! But, as one who has served on the Service and Social Committee, I too would like to add my declaration of the benefits of that committee. It is great being involved with a project that has direct impact and worth for community members, and seeing poor students pull together to bring so many children presents was nothing short of incredible. Now I only wish we were able to extend that to the rest of the council. I would love to see more action done...
