Can i get an AMEN?! AMEN! Julie, I'm really glad you took the initiative to set up an appointment with the Dean. I think good leadership like that is part of why the info session went so well. Second, I agree about the value of being able to make a difference. I'm also grateful for the opportunity to help improve the college.
I hadn't heard about how the internship fair went. Congrats! It sounds like all of your hard word paid off and I love it when that happens! I also agree that the HCSC puts us in a great place to improve what we can within the college by using the tools we have AND I think it is absolutely fabulous that you are meeting with the Dean about scholarships. I give a loud AMEN to THAT!
Julie I am so pleased that there was such a good turnout. I had the same realization when the dean came- that internships are really important to our students and our college. I also realized along with all of us I think, that it would be beneficial for both parties if we could meet more regularly with the deans of the college so we can all be on the same page and work on the same goals, so thank you for taking the initiative to arrange a meeting with Dean Rosenberg.
