The Friendly Foe

  1. I like what you said about how having more demands on your time forces you to be more effective. I have found the same thing to be true. Unfortunately I'm one of those people who DOES get stressed when there's a lot to do, but I would definitely prefer to be a little stressed than bored. Plus I think I tend to work better under pressure, so it's all for the best.

  2. Simple design, simple story, clear point. It's so true what you say - having a lot of responsibilities pushes you to do more than you ever would anyway. Thanks for reminding me of the upside. Plus, tulips will always make me think of my mission in Holland... what a great choice of flower. ;)

  3. This story really brought happiness to my heart, just to know that you sacrificed your food to buy a tulip for a friend in need. I believe that you really have mastered what I have only begun to try and that is time management and true charity. Thank you so much for your story and your great words of wisdom.

  4. I loved what you said about money management and how when we have less we manage it better. That really stuck out to me because it is spot on! When I have nothing to do in a day, I usually end up doing nothing. On the other hand, when I am going crazy because I am so busy, I accomplish so much more! It is amazing how we rise to the occasion when needed.
    Thanks for your story.
