  1. Ben, I like this a lot. You talk about reflecting with your learning while actually reflecting on what you learned in the reading. It works on so many levels, its blowing my mind! I also like how you got the direct goal there at the end on how you will continue to apply this.

    P.S. I missed the forum today, so thanks for teaching me a little about the ratio of Africans vs. Europeans who came to America. I'm not even in an American History class and I'm still happy about having that tid-bit of information!

  3. I considered addressing this forum, finding similar connections myself. As an American Studies major, I am intrigued by the racial issues so eminent in American history and culture. Many are unaware of this continuing struggle, and I enjoyed hearing what he had to say. One of the best points was how America has been Africanized--that is so true and wonderful.
