"All toilets shall now be called Johns!" (Robin Hood Men in Tights) By the way... I DON"T think you're a control freak all the time. Just when you clearly have us eating out of your hand...just tell us the vote tally already!!!
Ha ha! John, thanks for all your support this year! It's nice to feel trusted and respected in planning college-wide events. It was hard work, and it was fun. I hope to hear good things from next year's council. I feel that up this point the council has begun to leave a legacy within the Humanities.
Word to Charla's comment- thanks for all your support.
I think your vision and high standard for us made the rest of us feel confident in our abilities. You were always there to buoy up every committee in their efforts and you were always a support.
I enjoyed being able to work with you and I greatly respect your leadership and management abilities. Thanks for how much time and thought you put in. I think future councils will find that you left a legacy.
John, one of your good qualities is that you actually listen to others' opinions (once we express them) and take time to understand where we're coming from. That means a lot, because even if your final decision doesn't change, it lets us know that you care about our input. Thanks for being a good leader.
Dear John (that could totally be a book. AND a movie, now that I think about it),
I was only with the council for a semester, but it was such a great experience. Every committee accomplished a lot and I would have to shout a loud "AMEN" to what you said. The council is different, in a good way, and I am satisfied with the work we did.
It was great working with you, John--even if you did eat all the pears.
